FinalBurn Alpha v0.2.95.23 released
Another new FBA is now available...
- This is still an alpha release!
- Note, if compiled with GCC, you will need to use v3.3.x, the experimental DX9 blitter is not built.
- Changed the way FB Alpha looks for ROMs. Now, it will always check the last path for any given .zip file, even when a .zip file of the same name is present in another path. This way, we can keep ROMs that are only needed for FB Alpha seperate without sacrifising compatibility with other emus;
- Changed the way Neo Geo memory cards work, allowing the use of 1 megabit cards;
- Emulated protection in Super Sidekicks;
- Fixed last few bad game names / ROM definitions;
- Fixed issues in the makefile for mingw/cygwin;
- The debugger is now only compiled in debug builds;
- Minor updates to compile documentation;
- Fixed a crash at startup for some systems when autopause was activated;

Kawaks v1.53 released
New year, yet another new Kawaks...
- New drivers:
- The King of Fighters 2002 (bootleg)
- The King of Fighters 2002 Plus (bootleg 2)
- The KOF Special Edition 2004 (hack)

- Fixed Matrimelee (bootleg) to use the original bootleg V ROMs. Also fixed it to use the P roms from the parent set (data identical in both sets).
- Updated C5 ROM in Matrimelee as old was bad.
- Fixed Dynasty Wars DIP switches.

Guru comes clean.
Guru has finally done the right thing and come clean about the entire progear scam he and
HAZE pulled (MAMEdevers). This is something we though was the case all along but at least Guru
has the balls to admit it publically after lying about it even more, see his confession in this thread
here
(providing it dosent get removed or altered which is a high possibility).
Make of it what you will but one thing is for sure, this person is dealing with donations and stuff
and doing stuff like this simply lowers the image of the MAMEdev and makes one question how legitimately donations
are handled. HAZE being the current MAMEdev front man should really know better.
I have placed my original news about this back on this page as I have been banned from the forums again. As far as I am concerned the matter is now closed as at least one person involved has come clean. | |

Blatant Lies.
As many people will know Gurus (MAME Dev) page (http:/unemulated.emuunlim.com) at a point showed that he had
recieved a Progear board donated for dumping. People will also know that HAZE (MAME Dev) had said publically on
IRC that Guru would release the dump once a XOR was available. It now turns out that he never recieved this game
in the first place and the whole thing was a lie.
My only advice to this is for people to be wary before thinking about donating to these people and to also take
stuff that comes out of HAZE's mouth with a pinch of salt because he is a lier, he has already told enough about
me that are totally false.
As a result of this it means that progear will not be playable until either guru gets hold of a board and dumps
it or xacrow releases his dump (which is not going to happen). I would have posted this on the Retrogames message
boards but as HAZE has banned me from there (abuse of his moderator rating) this seems like the next best place.
